Sarah Henderson, LMSW

A Safe Space for Real Conversations
Hi, I'm Sarah!
Licensed in NY
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience working in mental health, including community mental health and psychiatric emergency services.
Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing a variety of challenges and have developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, supportive care. I believe that everyone has the ability to grow and make meaningful changes, and I enjoy helping people recognize their strengths and reach their full potential.
My approach to therapy is person-centered and strengths-based, which means I strive to meet you where you are and tailor treatment to your individual needs and goals. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and navigate life's challenges more effectively.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we can explore what's getting in the way, build healthy coping strategies, and work toward the changes that are important to you.
I am committed to providing culturally responsive and inclusive care and welcome individuals from all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. I enjoy working with people across the lifespan and am open to supporting diverse populations. I value creating a therapeutic space where clients feel respected, accepted, and understood, and I recognize the importance of considering cultural, social, and personal factors that shape each individual's experience.

Taking the first step toward therapy can be difficult, but you don't have to do it alone. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward growth, healing, and greater confidence in yourself.

Our team is made up of caring, experienced, and diverse therapists who are here to walk with you through life’s challenges, whether you're facing stress, relationship issues, or major life changes. We believe that while difficult moments are part of life, they don’t have to shape your entire story. We truly value your unique path and are dedicated to creating a welcoming, non-judgmental space where you can heal, grow, and thrive.
Licensed to serve New York, Pennsylvania, and Illinois, we deliver trusted online mental health support to individuals in these areas.
Why We Do It
We’re deeply committed to making mental health care more accessible and helping you create a life that feels balanced, fulfilling, and true to who you are.
Our team draws from a wide range of personal and professional experiences, shaped by our cultures, hardships, and life transitions. Many of us have walked through our own struggles and come out stronger, and that lived experience shapes how we connect with and support others. We believe that healing and growth are possible for everyone, and we’re here to walk beside you every step of the way. Our own paths to healing have given us purpose, and we’re driven to help others find that same sense of strength and direction. In our work, we honor each person’s individuality and aim to create a supportive, inclusive space where you can feel safe to heal, grow, and move forward.
